The Center of New Zealand and Walter's Bluff

A walk with my sister. It's a relaxed walk along the Maitai River to the Botanical Reserve, and a reasonable twenty minute climb up to the Center of New Zealand. Excellent views over Nelson city and also up the Maitai Valley. From there you walk along a ridge to Walters Bluff for thirty minutes (longer if you take photos) and then descend through a pleasant forest to emerge at the Founders Park entrance.
